Luis Felipe Tilleria Limongi also known as Lucho Tilleria [1] (born 30 June 1981 ) is an Ecuadorian politician and businessman. He is the founder of Red Ecuador, a non profit organization helping Ecuadorian people around the world[2].

Early life edit

He was born as first son of Carlos Tilleria and Monica Limongi in the city of Guayaquil. Went to a catholic school where he learnt to help others. He was catechist and heavily involved in community work. He was also involved in sports.


Education edit

Tilleria studied at the Kean University of New Jersey in USA, graduating with honors as Bachelor in Management Science, he achieved this distinction when was only 20 years old. [3]

By 2003 he got accepted in a masters program in London South Bank University in London - United Kingdom where he resides at the moment.

In 2005 he got awarded a Masters Degree in Finance and Banking, being involved in studying politics as well and being Faculty Representative on the academic board.


Business career edit

After his graduation from the United States, he returned briefly to Ecuador and was Lecturer of Financial Accounting at the Catholic University of Guayaquil.

He worked at several banks in the United Kingdom including The Royal Bank of Scotland and NatWest Private banking.

He started several companies in the United Kingdom in areas relating to Real Estate, Business Advise, Recruitment and Property management.

Tilleria is linking his business contacts and a group of 200 volunteers, with the Ecuadorian community in need of work to fulfill the objectives of Red Ecuador.


Political career edit

Tilleria started in politics after been nominated by the Partido Roldosista Ecuatoriano to represent the Ecuadorians that live in Europe, Asia and Oceania . His first bid to be elected as Member of Parliament was unsuccessful. In the time leading up to the election he, in his position of leader of Red Ecuador, questioned the poor service that the Ecuadorean consulates were giving to the people living abroad.


Tilleria has always confronted existing president Rafael Correa, claiming inefficiency and corruption by several people in the government, specially the lack of care giving to the emigrants.
