Aspen Institute Initiative on Financial Security
The Aspen Institute Initiative on Financial Security (Aspen IFS) is a leading policy program at the Aspen Institute dedicated to helping bring about the policies and financial products that enable all Americans to save, invest, and own.
History
[edit]Founded in December 2004, Aspen IFS conducts research, publishes policy papers, and sponsors public events advocating for policies and products to be put in place to aid and encourage Americans, particularly lower-income Americans, to save throughout their lifetimes. The Aspen Institute Initiative on Financial Security is located in Washington, DC, at the Aspen Institute headquarters. Lisa Mensah is Founder and Executive Director.[1]
