Sara Humphreys is an American author of fantasy fiction, best known for the the Amoveo Legend series. Currently this comprises two books, Unleashed (2011) and Untouched (2012).
Life
[edit]She studied English Literature and Theatre at Marist College.[1]
In addition to writing, Humphreys has also acted and taught public speaking.[2] She is married and the mother of four sons.
Unleashed
[edit]Unleashed (2011) is the first in a series about the Amoveo, a race of supernatural beings who must fall in love by the age of 30, or die.[3] Grave Tells awarded it Best Book of 2011 in their reader awards.[4] The main characters are Samantha Logan, who moves home to her grandmother's beachside house, and Malcolm Drews, whom she encounters.[5]
Untouched
[edit]Untouched (2012) features the return of 2 characters from, Unleashed, Dante Coltari (boss of a security firm) and Kerry Smithson (a world-famous model), both secretly Amoveo, shape-shifters living among humans.[6][7] Publishers Weekly called it "outstanding", combining "red-hot love scenes" and "a well-plotted suspense story".[6] RT Book Reviews also praised it highly for action and characterization; they rated it 4/5 stars and classed it "Sensuality: HOT".[7]
