John Patrick is an American fashion designer and early adapter to sustainable fashion. He is a notoriously eccentric personality, who notably cancelled plans for The John Patrick Show - a documentary television show intended to follow the designer and his team as he created his line - after the show had been green lighted by Discovery Planet's Green Chanel.[1].
In 2010 he was an Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation winner.[2] Additionally, he was a 2008 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Finalist. [3] Patrick has often worked with the model Shalom Harlow [4] who is herself an eco advocate. John Patrick, Shalom Harlow, Diane von Fürstenberg and others contributed to the CFDA backed Earth Pledge book 'Future Fashion: White Papers' in 2007.[5]
