Thatcham Town Fireballs are a small football club in Thatcham. They won the 2008-09 Berks & Bucks Football League Division One and the Berks & Bucks Cup
History
[edit]Thatcham Fireballs were founded in 2008, they were entered in the 2008-09 Berks & Bucks League & Cup Competitions and won both of them. The Fire are playing against the league Runners-Up, Milton Keyens Ducks on the first game of the season. They were knocked out of the FA Cup, by, Blue Square Premier side, AFC Wimbledon.
Colours and Logo
[edit]The Fire's colours is a Red and Orange top, with Orange shorts and socks. The away kit is all black. The thrid kit is Red and White striped top and red socks and shorts The kits are made by Puma AG.
The Fire's logo has flames all over it.
Stadium
[edit]The Fire's home matches are played at the Irn Bru Fireball Stadium, the ground holds 36,000 people and is shared with, Premier League side, Thatcham Dragons.
Supporters and Rivals
[edit]The Fire's fans are generally considered noisy and supportive to there team, very much so against there rivals.
Thatcham Fire's main rival is Thatcham Rockets, both getting promoted in the previous season. Pre-Season Matches between Thatcham Dragons and Lions have had huge success for rivalry.
