If you are reading this, then you have successfully stumbled upon me! How exciting. =)
I am a 20 year old female, currently living in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
So...about me...a little bit. I'm an english major at the University of Manitoba, although I have taken a plethora of courses from different faculties. By plethora I mean a few. Anyway, the point is that if I didn't have a good understanding of grammar/spelling/proper citation/ elements of style I wouldn't be an english major in the first place, because that would be just masochistic...and I wouldn't be putting myself in this position, either, as an editor. I doubt I'll do much editing, but at least now I have the power to.
Things that make me happy are correcting petty grammatical/spelling errors, because they obviously disrupt the eye, and thus the reader, and correcting improper names, such as that of geography, or the like. Even if these are tiny details, contribution to efficiency is important. Also, if I find some articles that are severely lacking, assuming I know enough about the topics involved I'll probably try to fill them out to the best of my ability.
