Hello folks, my name is Claudio Rodrigues Pistilli, and I was born in Sorocaba, São Paulo, Brazil, on January 7th, 1957. I'm graduated in Chemistry, and Esperanto, Italian, Portuguese and English are the languages I can deal fairly well. I am a retired Environmental Technician, love programming and have translated several books on programming languages to Portuguese, chiefly on Java.

My favourite hobby is to collect and translate biographies from all over the world. My wish is to be informed about important people from several countries, as well as I intend to make available biographies of the most important brazilian people. Unfortunately knowledge has not achieved its fair place within our own interests yet.

I hope that people in the future will prefer to learn rather than just consume and knowledge will be our food, the food for our soul. When learning is our goal, we have no time to quarrel, fight or argue. I count on the cooperation of those who understand English in order to achieve my aim: to make my best to the users of Wikipedia.
