Acidstings is an independent record label founded by Robin Basak in 1984.It evolved from 'Zero' music fanzine (1980-1986) based in Welwyn Garden City.The name 'AcidStings' was first used as the title for a fanzine mail order catalogue printed and run by Zero fanzine in 1981.Zero also distributed mostly anarcho punk fanzines to shops throughout Britain under the service name of 'Boggs Distribution' from 1981-86. The first vinyl release by Acid Stings was 'How Much Longer' by east London punk band The Apostles in 1986.
