Photography Competition of Amphibians and Reptiles (PCAR)

[edit]PCAR, which is sponsored by the Youth League Committee of Chengdu Institute of Biology(CIB) ,the Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS) and the Party Committee of the Department of Herpetology in CIB, CAS, organized by Conservation Society of Amphibians and Reptiles(CSAR)a,b, is the first professional and authoritative photography party of Herpetology. The purpose of this party is to conduct and expand the protection of Amphibians and Reptiles, show us the colorful life and moving moments, provide a communication platform to those wildlife photographers.

Solicit contributions rules
[edit]Warmly welcome all over the enthusiasts and photographers to join this activity. 1. The theme of entries is only about amphibians and reptiles. 2. Any subjects, but can not in violation of the relevant laws, regulations and ethics. 3. The work must be originally invented. We will cancel the competence if finding cribbing work. Reject the original image works with any changing, except the adjustments of levels, sharpness and color saturation. 4. Accept the single photo or photos series with any color. 5. Every entrant can contribute 5 photos at most and every photo’s pixel is between 2 to 5 Mb. Photo format is .JPG, .JPEG or .BMP and you should provide the related parameters of your photography. 6. No charges and no rejections.

[edit]Only electronic works can be accepted. All your photos can be referred to our Sina Weibo1,2 ,you should note “entry of photography competition” ,and you should name it as “author-entry title”.
Special Instruction
[edit]1. The entries must be original; The entries involved the copyright and all legal liability are assigned by the participants; The authors must declare that they have no competing interests. Authors must guarantee that the content published for the first time in this activity. The committee have the right to use the entries in this activity and other non-business activities, and no longer pay other royalties. 2. Each entrant should provide title, name, address, e-mail, and telephone number on reverse. The committee will appraise and elect the works and issue the certificate for the entrants. The Sponsor of this competition has got notice the final right to interpret.
