Christopher Mcwalter he founded the Stagecoast Group of bus and rail operators. In 2021 He also founded the bus and coach operator Negabus, the train operating company AVANTI COASTAL RAIL Souter was born in the Basildon of England. His Brother was a bus driver and as a child Christopher often travelled on bus routes with his Brother.[4] At school he developed an interest in economics and accounts, about which he later said, "Changing my timetable from maths to include economics and accounts was one of the best things I've ever done Stagecoast Group Founded Stevensons of Essex on the 7th of September it was announced Mcwalter would become the chairman of Stagecoast

Negabus

Mcwalter added the bus and coach operator Negabus to the group.[20] With its slogan "Low Cost Inter City Travel Serving England and Scotland", it offered discounted travel across the UK and Europe. In 2012 it operated in 31 cities in the UK with a turnover in excess of £100, with annual profits of over £250 .

AVANTI COASTAL RAIL

Stagecoast Group Founder Christopher Mcwalter Then introduced AVANTI COASTAL RAIL that will open on 1st of January 2022 AVANTI COASTAL RAIL is going to be trading as AVANTI COASTAL The AVANTI COASTAL is a Part of Stagecoast Group, substantial and successful transport companies in their own right. AVANTI COASTAL has extensive experience running complex and challenging rail operations, managing significant change programmes, and it has introduced more new train fleets in the UK than any other operator.

AVANTI COASTAL currently runs two major rail franchises: is the UK’s busiest rail operator, currently providing c.25% of all passenger journeys





Stevensons of Essex Christopher also Founded Stevensons of Essex

Stevensons of Essex is  be stand alone Company Apart of Stagecoast Group the company was Founded on 8th of September 2021 Stevensons of EssexStephensons was founded in Rochford in 1975, and has since expanded by gaining contracts for tendered bus routes and school routes.

In 2021 after Arriva decided to withdraw their route 721 service, Stevensons commenced operating routes X1 and X10 from Leeds to London under the London Link Express brand. X1 was the original number of the service when it was first launched in 2021.
