Biography

Christian Hans Peter Brenner was born in Hamburg, Germany on 24 February, 1981, and moved to Australia when he was 4 years old. He spent a year living in Crib Point, Victoria, followed by a year in Alice Springs, Northern Territory. At this point, his parents separated and he moved back to Victoria with his mother and sister (then aged 6). He lived at first with relatives in Hastings and then in a rented flat in Werribee until his mother met and moved in with his soon-to-be step father Roger in 1988. The next eighteen years were spent in Hoppers Crossing, before at 26 Christian finally moved out into his own home in Point Cook, Victoria where he now lives with his wife Renee.

Christian achieved an ENTER score of 98.90 in VCE and was the dux of his school, Hoppers Crossing Secondary College. He completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Software Engineering) degree with distinction at RMIT University in Melbourne and is currently the Lead Application Developer and Development Team Leader for NOW/media, a web design and development house based in the Melbourne CBD. He has numerous interests, including primarily reading (mostly science-fiction, fantasy, action, adventure and techno-thriller novels), movies, exercising, and Australian Rules Football (where he is a passionate Hawks supporter). In particular, he is a keen aspiring author and enjoys writing his own novels and short stories.

Christian is also a Lance Corporal (acting section commander) in the Australian Army Reserve.
