Hi Chris,

Thanks for your comments about Southampton F.C. The Official Site uses the number 0 in the First Team Squad Profiles page to mean unknown. (This is an unfortunate result of poor database design!) However, it is perfectly acceptable for a player in a squad list to have an unassigned squad number -- see the template page. In any case, it is now believed that his squad number has been decided as 14. Jjd27 08:20, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
