Designit is an international strategic design consultancy founded in Denmark in 1991 by Anders Geert Jensen, David Fellah and Mikal Hallstrup.[1] The co-founding partners met at the School of Architecture in Denmark, at the Institute of Industrial Design.
Designit's headquarters are located in Aarhus, Denmark, with other office locations in Barcelona, Copenhagen, Curitiba, Gothenburg, London, Madrid, Munich, Oslo, São Paulo, San Francisco, Shanghai, Tel Aviv and Tokyo. The company employs more than 300 employees.[2]
The agency works in various sectors. Clients range from start-ups to small and medium enterprises and large enterprises like Audi, Banco Santander, Better Place, Electrolux, Novo Nordisk, Harman Kardon and Telefonica.[3]
Designit has won a variety of design awards,[4] including 37 International Forum Design (iF) awards since 2001,[4] where they rank #24 in their creative rankings list,[5] red dot awards and GOOD design awards. In 2012 a Red Dot 'best of the best' was awarded for the NovoPen® 5 [6] interaction design features [7] and in 2013 an iF product design Gold award was given for the Falck first-aid kit.[8]
