A bunting (also known as a bunting bag, stroller sack, or stroller bag[1]) is an infant garment that is similar to an infant sleeping bag but has a seam between the legs to allow the infant wearing the bunting to be buckled into an stroller or infant car seat.[2] Buntings are often lined with or made of polar fleece.
Infants should not wear buntings (or other bulky winter clothing) when riding in infant car seats, as this may pose a safety risk because the infant will not be held securely by the straps of the seat.[3]
