Kathaumixw is a choral music festival held every two years since 1984 in Powell River, British Columbia. The festival is 5 days long and includes about 40 choirs and over 1200 singers from all over the world. The participating choirs change from year to year.
The word Kathaumixw is a Coast Salish word meaning "a gathering together of different peoples". The "K" should be underlined.
