Chetly Zarko is a political consultant in the U.S. state of Michigan, and a former freelance investigative writer whose publications include the Wall Street Journal, the Michigan Bar Journal, and a number of other sources. He is most noted for the time he spent from 2003 to early 2006 as Treasurer and Director of Media Relations of the Michigan Civil Rights Initiative, but has had a number of other influential clients. He left MCRI full-time in February 2006 to pursue his expanding consulting business, although he continued to subcontract for the initiative through its successful 58% to 42% victory on November 7, 2006.
