Maduranga Caldera

Maduranga Caldera started his racing life in 1997, with an unexpected and unplanned entry with 1000CC open event at the Katukurenda Circuit,and took the podium by finishing second. Since then he has been proven to be a fast rider on the racing track with many titles both locally and internationally. Korea, Indonesia, Maldives, India and South Africa are the countries where Maduranga has taken part at races to showcase Sri Lankan talents.Maduranga Caldera has been keeping his hand on the 250cc class championship for 7 times, 600cc class championship for 4 times and 1000cc class championship for 5 times respectively.Over the years Maduranga Caldera has secured 530 podium finishes and 352 wins in Sri Lanka and still competing over the Globe with an expanding list of success.

Under his belt he holds the following positions : Proprietor Maduranga Enterprises, Official Racing Instructor For Sri Lanka air-force, current owner of kanway autodrome (the only functioning race track in Sri Lanka at Meerigama), President of Sri Lanka Motorcycle club (the second oldest racing club in Sri Lanka created specially for motorcyclist in 1947),motorbike presenter in autovision live program in Sirasa TV,Official presenter for Biker.lk you tube channel, Founder of Frontline Racing Team which is one of the leading racing teams in Sri Lanka,owner of the first Yamaha R1M 2015 in 2015 and current owner of the first BMW M1000rr 2024 Competition Package.
