From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Charlette Proto is a Second Life (www.secondlife.com) avatar dedicated to collaborative development/design practice, the perception of identity and one's role in the social discourse within virtual environments. In 'real life' I'm a Master of Design Science (Design Computing); a graduate of the School of Architecture at the University of Sydney in 2008. Additionally, I have a broad practical expertise in User Experience, User Interface and general aspects of creative design.

My interests include: Virtual Worlds, all forms of immersive environments and particular the notion of a cyborg paradigm resulting from identification with one's avatar. My research focuses on shared user experiences and the environments supporting the sense of presence and or providing persistence of events and situations.
