Charles Snicket is the grandfather of Lemony, Kit, and Jacques, and the father-in-law of Dewey Denouement. His son, Jacob Snicket, likes to be called by his "friends" by "E". His daughters are D. Snicket and F. Snicket. D. snicket is made fun of because of her single eyebrow and single ear.

Charles Snicket is currently hiding from the authorities for a crime he didn't commit, and his siblings A. Snicket and B. Snicket are gone, having been killed by either poison needles, or a harpoon gun and poisonous mushrooms.

Charles Snicket has a friend(and distant relative), Elwyn, who owns pigs. Charles helps raise Elwyn's pigs when Elwyn is out on duties which have not yet been specified.
