I am an infrequent contributor to Wikipedia, however I do my best to make earnest contributions.
Although I am not very active, and probably less attentive to citations than I should be (it may take a while for my contributions to "stick"), I do have an earnest desire to improve a page, perhaps to simply add legibility, oftentimes.
There are other ways to contribute, of course. I recently increased my yearly donation from $35- to $100- and at that price I consider Wikipedia a bargain. I also donate to the Web Archive. And I have made a bequest to both (and other organizations).
If you read this page (seems unlikely, but you never know...) than you should consider doing the same.
It may come to be, someday, that an individual or organization chooses to endow 'Wikipaedia.'

When that happens (it's bound to), there will be no money problems, but until that time comes, I expect to receive an e-mail such as what follows, once per year.
Dear Charles,
Thank you so much for the one-time gift of CA$104.00 to support Wikipedia and a world where knowledge is free for everyone.
Every single donation helps us to improve people’s access to accurate and reliable information, especially in a rapidly changing world. I’m truly grateful for your support in enabling billions of people to experience the gift of knowledge through Wikipedia.
We are determined to extend this access as far as possible to make sure that no matter where you are born or where you live, the ability to access free knowledge is always within your reach. I hope you will continue to support us in building a future where Wikipedia exists everywhere, with people across the world contributing to the sum of all knowledge.
Thank you again for supporting this remarkable mission; it is a privilege for me to be part of the largest collaborative project in human history. Wikipedia will always belong to you.
With gratitude, Maryana
