I am a converted wiki-enthusiast called Charlotte Hutchings, currently studying biology at Imperial College London. I am a Northerner studying in London with an interest in therapeutic science, paricularly the application of novel techniques including gene therapy, electroceuticals, and optogenetics.

My career aspirations include being a profilic researcher and an acclaimed professor. Within this, I intend to incorporate a focus on teaching and communicating my research to the next generation of scientists. Therefore, science communication and engaging an audience will be essential.

Technically, my wikipedia editing isn't just out of pure love for doing so. I am studying a Science Communication course as part of my degree and as part of my coursework I will be editing/updating the symmetry in biology wikipedia page to help ensure that accurate and reliable information is available to the public.
