Chaladoor is a social anthropologist with interests in the folowing sub-cultures: Modern Paganism, science fiction fandom, little theatre, film industry. He has a background in radio where he has worked as a presenter, writer-producer, and independent producer. Chaladoor holds advanced degrees in anthropology and sociology and teaches social sciences at a college of applied arts and technology in Ontario. Chaladoor was first initiated into one of the many varieties of the Feri tradition in 1983. He became an Odyssean Neophyte in 1992 and received his Odyssean initiation into the First Degree in 1995. Richard James, High Priest of the Odyssean tradition and High Priest of the Wiccan Church of Canada, assigned Chaladoor to the status of retired Odyssean initiate in 1997. Between the years of 1987 and 2007, Chaladoor studied the Wiccan Church of Canada, with a particular focus on the Hamilton temple and the Modern Pagan community associated with that local WCC temple.
