Certified Formula Neek Racing Development (CFN Racing Development) is a (fantasy) racing team from the United Kingdom. Formed in 2024, in 2025 they are set to race in FRECA, Eurocup-3, British F4 and Spanish F4.

History

[edit]

2024

[edit]

Ahead of the 2024 F4 British Championship, CFN took the entry of Fortec Motorsports in the championship. In addition, CFN took control of Cram Motorsport's entries to the F4 Spanish Championship.

For the British F4 season, CFN elected to enter Zack Scoular, Leo Robinson and Kai Daryanani into the competition. For the Spanish F4 season, CFN decided Chinese F4 champion Tiago Rodrigues and Andrija Kostic would join the team.

During the season, Daryanani picked up the team's first podium in British F4, and later in the same race weekend, Scoular picked up the team's first win. In the next race weekend, Robinson finished on the podium for the first time himself. The team's highest finisher was Scoular, finishing 8th in his first year as an F4 driver. Robinson and Daryanani finished 12th and 14th respectively.

In Spanish F4, Tiago Rodrigues managed to pick up two race victories during the season, but consistency was the problem, as Rodrigues finished 9th in the championship. Kostic had a very difficult rookie F4 season, and came second to last of all the full time drivers, only ahead of Monlau's Filippo Fiorentino.

2025

[edit]

In 2025, CFN decided to extent their programme massively, as they joined 3 winter series and Formula Regional Championships.

Harry Bartle was the team's first signing for British F4, and he comes from the karting junior team who does testing with the team. Tiago Rodrigues was promoted from the Spanish F4 team to the Eurocup-3 side, and Leo Robinson moved up from British F4 to Eurocup-3. The EC-3 lineup was completed when Brazilian Gabriel Gomez joined the squad. Zack Scoular moved up from British F4 to FRECA and FRMEC. Julius Dinesen made his return to racing, joining the FRECA side for 2025. CFN completed their to Formula Regional lineups with the sophomore driver Ivan Domingues. Hugo Marti, Matus Ryba and Ivanna Richards were selected to complete CFN's Spanish F4 lineup, with Marti, Ryba and Vivek Kanthan joining the team for FWS. The team's F4 MEC lineup was completed with Bartle and Richards, with the F4 British team signing Zac Drummond and Kanthan.
