This user visits sites on the National Register of Historic Places.

Since discovering Wikipedia's list of National Register of Historic Places during the summer of 2012, I have been primarily interested in filling in some of the gaps with thumbnails and photos for articles that deal with those places. This puts my love for photography to good use and helps to satisfy my interest in traveling and history.

My heritage is in the Deep South, my transplanted roots are in Colorado, and my temporary mid-life adventure is taking place in Northern Virginia. My husband and I enjoy exploring places we haven't seen, so whether we spend an afternoon on the back roads of a neighboring county or wander through a town just off the Interstate during a road trip, our diversions usually yield a few photos for the NRHP.
