Liberty Ship Replacement
[edit]Liberty Ship Replacement refers to a set of standard cargo ship types that were developed by a number of shipyards around the world during the 1960’s as replacements for the ageing fleet of Liberty ships and Victory ships which had been in service since the 1940’s and were reaching the end of their service lives.
