Rubeena Mahato is a journalist with Nepali Times where she writes a column on politics, development and social affairs. Public policy, international development, security studies and media analysis are her areas of interest. She has travelled across her country writing stories of peace, rebuilding and transitional justice in the aftermath of war. She plans to contribute to intra-national co-operation and policy making in developing countries .
