Safarov oglu Eldar Sabir ( Azerbaijani : Səfərov oglu Eldar Sabir) (born January 4, 1957, Zahmat, Zangibasar, Armenia SSR , USSR ) is an Azerbaijani politician who was the first term deputy of the Azerbaijan National Assembly . Head of Political Analysis and Forecasting Department of YAP General Secretariat (1993-2000), press secretary of presidential candidate Heydar Aliyev in 1998 presidential elections , Colonel of Azerbaijan Armed Forces , Head of Press Service of Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan Republic (2007-2013)
Eldar Sabiroğlu was the general secretary of the "Kültür" newspaper in 1991-1993 . He is one of the founders of the New Azerbaijan Party . In the first congress of the New Azerbaijan Party, he was elected as a member of the Party's Political Council. In 1993-2000 he was the head of the Political Analysis and Forecasting Department of the Administrative Secretariat of the New Azerbaijan Party . In the parliamentary elections held on November 12, 1995, Eldar Sabiroğlu, who took the 19th place in the New Azerbaijan Party list, was elected as the first term deputy of the National Assembly. Eldar Sabiroğlu, who took office on 24 November 1995, Parliamentary Human Rights Standing Committee and Azerbaijan - PakistanHe was a member of the Interparliamentary Relations Working Group. Between 1993-1996, he worked as the head of the politics department of the "Ses" newspaper . In the 1998 presidential elections, he was the press secretary of presidential candidate Heydar Aliyev and a member of the Party Central Election Headquarters. In 1989, he became one of the pioneers and board members of the establishment of the Azerbaijan Refugee Association . Between 2003 and 2007, he served as the Vice President of the Yerevan People's Union . Between 2007 and 2013, he worked as the head of the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Azerbaijan Republic.
