Selena Harris

Selena Hulda Harris-Miranda (born November 5, 2003) is an American artistic gymnast.[1] She currently competes for the UCLA Bruins gymnastics team, and is a 12 time All-American.

Early life

Harris was born to parents Nidia Miranda and Chris Harris on November 5, 2003 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is of Guatemalan descent through her mother.[2]

Gymnastics career

Harris qualified for junior elite in February 2017.[3]

She dropped down to Level 10 for the 2019 season after not qualifying to the national team in 2018.[5]

In the 2020 season, Harris qualified for the Nastia Liukin Cup

Harris committed to UCLA on the. She was ranked as the top recruit for the 2023 season by College Gym News.[6]

2023 season

She scored her first perfect 10.0 on vault at the Los Angeles Regional Final on April 1, 2023.[9]

Harris was named the 2023 Pac-12 Freshman/Newcomer of the Year.

2024 season

She won the all-around at the Pac-12 Conference on March 23, 2024; she also won vault and tied for first place on the uneven bars with Jade Carey.
