I am creating this user page so that I can join and contribute to discussions about articles of interest. I have created a Wikipedia entry - it is the biography of a person who dies in1943, so there are still some people and relatives alive who remember him. He was notable because as an invalid he became recognised for his art - beautiful embroideries that were collected by art connoisseurs, particularly in America. His works were also collected by Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears in the UK and there is a considerable collection of documents about his life and art at the Red House in Aldeburgh.
The name of the significant person is John Craske. The article is now published and a release form has been submitted by the owners of the two photos. I am not a relative nor a friend of the Craske family. I encountered them when undertaking research about John Craske. We thought it better if the Wikipedia article is created by an independent person, rather than by the family themselves. They have been very helpful providing evidence, facts and dates. I have found it difficult that I have been told that I cannot use first person accounts from relatives. This is sad as these will potentially be lost for ever.
