Nakatomi Towers are an Irish electro-pop duo from Belfast. Formed in 2009 when Julianne Shawe and Dave Frecknall bonded over a shared love of glitchy house and electroclash. The DJ, production & live duo have had previous indie rock success with The_Jane_Bradfords and CODA.
Quickly progressing through their local scene, Nakatomi Towers gained immediate press support from the Irish Times.[1], BBC ATL.[2] & The Irish Independent whos Day & Night magazine.[3] tagged the duo as "ones to watch". Online the duo quickly featured in many internationally respected blogs such as Nialler9.[4] & Panic Dots.[5] along with various magazines both online (such as State.[6]) and traditional music magazines (Hot Press.[7]).

[edit]As a new unsigned band Nakatomi Towers already have an exceptional number of prestigious gigs behind them including support slots for Little Boots (Belfast & Dublin), Jack Peñate, Micachu and the Shapes, The_xx along with BBC hosted events and Belfast Pride open-air gig at Custom House Square with thousands.[8] in attendance.
