Ellen Sue Jaffe was a poet and psychologist. Ellen was born in New York City on March 15, 1945. Ellen graduated from the Dalton School in 1962. She attended Wellesley College, where she served as editor of the Wellesley News. She graduated from Wellesley in 1966.^[1] Ellen received a Masters Degree in Education from New York University. She lived in England between 1972-1979 and studied to be a child psychologist at the Tavistock Clinic in London. Ellen settled in Canada in 1979, and received Canadian citizenship in 1993
