The 'extracts' are simply quotes, and probably not appropriate (WP:QUOTEFARM) but that isn't the real issue; the major trouble is, there are insufficient references to show why this person passes the notability guidelines - see WP:VRS, and the tone of the article is inappropriate - it isn't encyclopaedic and neutral - it is written as opinion, not fact. "apparently died" is not appropriately factual, "touching letters" is opinion, and so forth. Commentry within an article is also inappropriate ie "In due course it is hoped that more can be found" - this has to be a factual article, with facts about the person, giving appropriate reliable sources.
