Biokind BIOKIND A thoughtful approach to understanding the importance, interactions, interconnections and equality of all life forms; and that which sustains all life forms; perceived inactively through the senses and actively through involvement.[1] BIOKIND is an affection for and loving nature towards all living things and that which sustains all living things, equally and in a kind manner. BIOKIND is all life and that which sustains life.[2][3] The concept of BIOKIND was developed in Florida, in 1992 by Interpretive Naturalist, Captain W K Miller. The motive for developing the concept was the lack of an English word that described a view of life on this planet with so much biodiversity. The words: mankind or humankind definition do not include all life forms or that which sustains all life forms. The word BIOKIND includes 'bio' meaning life and 'kind' meaning what sort of, a natural group, division, variety or class of; a loving nature towards; the manner in which something is done; origin and beginnings, source of, root or cause of. Biokind was developed to teach people about ecology and ecosystems in an interconnected, all inclusive way.
