This is a list of the Chiefs of Staff of the United States Air Force in order of longevity. There are currently twenty-two Chiefs of Staff on the list and twelve living Chiefs of Staff. The list is in descending order and is correct as of November 6, 2024. The oldest Chief of Staff is David C. Jones (1921 - ), who is currently 103 years, 120 days old.

To account for the different number of leap days within the life of each Chief of Staff, two measures of longevity are given. The first is the number of whole years the Chief of Staff lived, and the number of days past their last birthday. The second lists the total number of days lived by the Chief of Staff.
