- The Vancouver Police Board is requesting that a special-use vehicle costing a few hundred thousand dollars be bought before the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver start. Since its low on funds, it plans to use private donations. The vehicle would be used in risky situations for dangerous armed criminals.
