Hugh A. Taylor (22 January 1920-11 September 2005) was an archivist who worked in Great Britain and Canada. He made significant philosophical contributions to the archival literature, exploring a wide range of topics from the impact of electronic records, the changing professional identity of archivists, appraisal of visual records, and the linkages between archives and ecology.
Biography
[edit]Hugh A. Taylor was born in England in 1920. During World War II, Taylor served in the Royal Air Force as a communications specialist. He spent his early archival career in England.
