Biographies should have at minimum three categories:

1. A category concerning the year of birth such as Category:47 BC births or if the year of birth is unknown, Category:Year of birth missing.
2. A category concerning the year of death such as Category:47 deaths or if the year of birth is unknown, Category:Year of death missing. If the subject is still living, use Category:Living people since Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. If you are unsure if the subject is living, use Category:Possibly living people.
3. One or more categories that decribe what the person is best known for. [[:Category:{{{category}}}]] or a subcategory thereof should be appropriate unless the article has been misstubbed.

To add an article to this category, use {{[[template:{{{newstub}}}|{{{newstub}}}]]}} instead of {{stub}}.
