Hello, my name is Uyen Vo, I come from Vietnam and I am currently an international student at Everett Community College. I am 17 years old and I am pursuing an Aviation degree. Back in 2017, I was an exchange student at North Carolina and it was such an amazing experience to me for being able to do all kind of things that American teenagers do that I don't have back in Vietnam.
One of my most favorite hobbies is taking photograph and I am an amateur photographer who sometimes takes photos for friends and family that I know. When I was in Vietnam, I used to be a dancer so I pretty love music and moving along the rhythm.
Thank you for visiting my page.
Article evaluation.
[edit]For my assignment, I choose Non la because I have always been interested in culture. Besides, I come from Vietnam, a country is well known for using a lot of Non la so I want to help building this page better. I visited the “Non la” page on Wikipedia and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: the citation, age of the sources, and structure of the page.
Citation
[edit]First of all, the sources of the page are poorly cited with only three of them among practical use, regional name and the gallery of photos involving in Non la. Especially in the region name section, being called by different names in different countries, it should be an interesting topic to read about but with only one source among the entire section is not convincing enough to readers.
Time of the sources
[edit]Secondly, the time of those sources was a long time ago. One of them has a display that belongs to the 90s or 2000s. Those sources are good but recently, there are more and more articles write about Non la. It can be found easily with the most information of it on pages about the culture around the world or traveling information.
Structure of the page
[edit]Last but not least, the structure of the page is poor with only three sections, there should be more about Non la that should be talked about and can be talked about. Sometimes, people might want to know how Non la was created and what urged people to make it. Moreover, I would be interested in finding out how Non la was made, stuff people have to prepare to make it and the processes of making. Besides, there are also many kinds of Non la were made with a variety of colors and decoration, and it will be interesting to readers who want to know more about it.
Conclusion
[edit]To sum up, the page is not well constructed but it is not a poor one. The sections are well written, they just need to be expanded more otherwise it will be hard to be considered reliable. The section “Regional name” is poorly cited with only one citation. Plus, there are some other information and aspects that should be included to build the page about Non la better and more reliable.
