Early Life
[edit]Colin Naatwijuka Bwempazi was born on 10th August, 1975 in Rukungiri District, Rubabo County, Nyarushanje Sub-county, Bwanga Parish, Kigina Village Cell in South Western Part of Uganda. Colin went to Bwanga Primary School and later joined Kigina Primary School where he excelled in Primary Leaving Examination to join Kigezi College Butobere for his secondary Education in 1990. In 1994 he joined St. Jerome Ndama-Kebisoni Rukungiri District where he completed his Uganda Certificate of Education-O-Level to join Ahmadiyya Muslim High School Wandegeya Kampala. Colin joined Nkumba University in 1998 up to 2000 with a higher Diploma in Business Studies, he worked for two years as a Lecturer at Datapro Business institute before going back for a Degree in 2002. Colin lectured in the same institution which he did his Bachelor's for three years until he graduated in 2005 with a second class lower in Accounting and Finance.
Career
[edit]Colin Lectured from 2000 to 2006 at Dapro Business Institute where he left to join World Vision international Katwe ADP as a Research Assistant on Africa HIV and AIDS Operations Research in October 2006 to November 2006. Colin later participated in the second and final phase of research from October 2007 to November 2008, where later worked as a volunteer and a Monitoring and Evaluation officer. In the same period he trained community based organizations of Kiboga and Hoima district in the Channels of Hope and community development. He later joined Movit Products Limited as a Sales representative from 2009-2010 where he left to join Nyaka AIDS Foundation as a Project Accountant in 2010. Colin worked with Nyaka AIDS foundation for three years where he left to do private consultancy. He worked as Program Manager for Gali Management and Development Consultancy on various assignments ranging from data collection to project design in different parts of the country. From 2018 left Uganda to Dubai to work as an office assistant cum housekeeping where he is currently working. Personal Life
[edit]Colin is the second last child amongst the six siblings. Among the six, three passed on and there are remaining three, meaning two Males and one Female. Colin's parents are Christopher Bwempazi Geofrey Rwomumaizi as his father and the mother is Lydia Mpoora Bwempazi Rwomushana. Colin has a wife called Alice Ainomugisha and three children, Joy being the firstborn, Janice and Courage.
