I am interested in the Hum-phenomenon, because I am a hearer myself. I have a doctor`s degree in chemistry and a diploma in physics and performed several measurements on Hum, which were mainly of psychoacoustic nature. As the head of the scientific advisory board of the former Interest group for Research of the Hum Nuisance (IGZAB eV) in Bad Waldsee Germany, I had contacts to many Hum sufferers, which enabled me to statistically weight the variation of Hum.
