Bright Briggs Joshua is a documentation officer at the National Archives of Malawi in charge of the Sound, Image and Video collections. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Mathematical Sciences with Majors in Mathematics and Computing. He holds professional certificates in SOIMA management awarded by ICCROM; Cultural Leadership certificate by Arterial Network; has attended film preservation summer school at the National Film Video and Sound Archives in Pretoria, South Africa and as fellow in Film preservation at the Bundes archiv in Berlin, Germany. He has played leading roles in various digitization projects: As a country coordinator for the digitization of strategic public records in Malawi and, currently he is the technical specialist for the British Libraryeap.bl.uk endangered archives project.
