Kaiping South Oilfield, at 19°30′N 113°00′E / 19.5°N 113°E in the South China Sea, is the site of a light crude discovery in 2024 by China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC). The oilfield is in the Pearl River Mouth basin and is estimated by CNOOC to be 10^8 tons, or about 0.7 billion barrels.
