Benjamin Lasky (born October 2, 2000), better known as Quadeca, is an American YouTuber & rapper. He gained massive popularity after the release of his song, "Insecure", which was a diss track on British YouTuber KSI.
Early life
[edit]Lasky was born on October 2, 2000, in Los Angeles, California. Very little is known about his family or his education.
Career
[edit]Lasky began rapping at age fourteen, releasing his first mixtape, Work In Progress, was released on September 16, 2015. He released multiple albums throughout the next 3 years, slowly gaining a fanbase. He gained popularity with his songs, "Wii Music Fire" & "Who Would've Thought". He gained a large following after he released his KSI diss track, "Insecure", in November 2018, in which the song was a response to an episode on YouTuber Miniminter's podcast, which both him and YouTuber Randolph said they enjoyed Quadeca's music, but KSI disagreed and called out Quadeca numerous times in the episode.[1] The diss track gained more than 8 million views in ten days. Quadeca released his his fourth studio album, Voice Memos, on March 8, 2019. It reached number two on the iTunes Rap Albums chart.
