Hello, as the name implies, bowling is my interest. In my opinion, it should be included in the Olympic program. After revising its scoring system in 2014, bowling has attempted to join the Olympic program after serving as a demonstration sport at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul. It also moved the offices of its federation to Lausanne.

Bowling Agenda 2020 is a campaign that fought for its inclusion in the 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, and in 2015, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) shortlisted bowling one of the eight (8) new sports for 2020. Baseball and softball, karate, roller sports, climbing, squash and wushu are the others.

Unfortunately, on June 1, 2016, only baseball/softball, karate, skateboarding, sport climbing, and surfing were added to the IOC's list of sports. These sports, according to the Tokyo committee, "act as a driving force to promote the Olympic Movement and its principles, with a focus on youth appeal," and they also hope to involve Japanese citizens and new audiences around the world.

Karate attempted to join the Olympic sports programs in 2012 and 2016, now they are among the martial arts, such as judo and taekwondo in 2020 Tokyo.

After being routinely played at the Olympics since the 1990s, both baseball and softball were removed from the Olympic roster for the 2012 Games in London, but the sport was successfully reintroduced to the program for the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro and again in 2020 Tokyo.

Golf successfully got back into the program in 2016.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) examines the Olympic schedule on a regular basis, while most of the basic sports do not change. Bowling will not be in the 2024 Paris Games, but will again vie for the 2028 Los Angeles and 2032 Brisbane Games.
