Bot523 helps implement AfD categories by removing categories from AfD debates that have been closed. It is written in JavaScript; in fact, some of its code is in its /monobook.js page. It works by harvesting AfD debates that have been categorized for more than a week from query.php, and then checking them to see if they have been closed. If they have been, the {{REMOVE THIS TEMPLATE WHEN CLOSING THIS AfD}} tag is replaced with {{ns:0}}, which is the null string and therefore won't come up. -- ais523
