Station Placement
[edit]Relocation
[edit]- Chelsea — The current Chelsea station, extending east from the Arlington & Sixth crossing, is anticipated to be relocated to Mystic Mall, between Everett Ave and W Third St with egress to both, as a part of the Silver Line Gateway project. The station should remain in the vicinity of its current location, and should thus be relocated in the future to the stretch of track between the Arlington & Sixth crossing and the Broadway overhead bridge. Egress at this location would be by handicap ramp to the Arlington & Sixth crossing, elevator and stairs to Washington St overhead bridge, and elevator, escalator, and stairs to the Broadway overhead bridge. There will be an MBTA Silver Line connection available at this location.
