Categories
[edit]For more information see Help:Category
Categories are like the filing system for Wikipedia. They are important to include in an article, and there are a number of them available. In general, always pick the most specific category you can find. There are two specific categories that should be filled for every trade union article.
- Category:Trade unions by country
- Category:International and regional union federations - use the most specific sub-category you can find.
A more general list of trade union categories can be found at WikiProject Organized Labour#Categories
Stubs
[edit]For more information see Wikipedia:Stub
Stubs are used as markers for short articles that need to be expanded. Generally, an article that is less than 1 - 2 paragraphs long is considered a stub.
The list of available trade union stubs can be found at WikiProject Organized Labour#Stub templates
Templates
[edit]For more information see Wikipedia:Template messages
Templates often appear as information boxes, like the one shown in the sample page above. There are a number of templates available specifically for trade union articles. They can be found at WikiProject Organized Labour#Templates
