INDUSTRIAL TRIPARTITE COMMITTEES (ITCs)

These tripartite bodies provide a forum whereby the social partners through dialogue can appreciate the problems of industries and workers affected by Economic Reforms. These Committees are non-statutory Standing Committees meetings of which are convened as and when required. Government’s proactive role has successfully harmonized the interest of the employers and the workers resulting in a change of attitude from confrontation to that of co-operation."
