Richard Louis is a multi faceted talented person and a popular story writer and Dialogue writer in Kannada movies. He is also a very recognized stand up comedian and is known for his sense of humor and witty one liners.

Born in a Konkani speaking Mangalore Christian family in Singatagere near Banavara, he has 7 siblings including 6 younger sisters, Richard grew up In Bangalore in Chamarajpet Area. He did his schooling in St Joseph school, Chamarajpet and did his college from Acharya. he is a commerce graduate and also Holds a bachelors degree in Law. His college mates were D. Rajendra Babu, Mukhyamantri Chandru. When he was doing his LLB he got drawn to Dramatics and Theater.
