The article I've chosen to edit is Mobile network. I chose to add to the section dealing with the history of mobile networking because it really looked like some more information could be added. The article's strengths are that it really delves into the different types (Wireless PAN, Space Network, etc.) and different properties of social networks. However, the article needs some more input in some sections. The history of mobile networking is very under covered, as well as the section on network capacity. To make this article better, I may contribute some more information on the history of mobile networks and the real effect of mobile networks on society. The section originally just consisted of these three sentences: "The first professional wireless network was developed under the brand ALOHAnet in 1969 at the university of Hawaii. It became operational in June, 1971. The first commercial wireless network was the WaveLAN product famliy, developed by NCR in 1986." To add to this, I included another piece of information from Wireless Networking and Communications Technologies at APL: Guest Editor’s Introduction, published in Johns Hopkins APL Technology Digest. With my addition, the section now reads, "The first professional wireless network was developed under the brand ALOHAnet in 1969 at the university of Hawaii. It became operational in June, 1971. The last two decades have resulted in a number of breakthroughs that have changed the way we think, create and share information." I also changed the spelling in the word family as there was a typo with the original text.
